Clay Conversations
What is Clay Conversation?
In our everyday busy life, we have forgotten how to connect with nature again. And with each passing day we are going a step far from nature. Touching clay can help us reconnect with mother earth without any conscious effort.
Well, when I say clay conversation, it’s exactly how it sounds, we talk while working with clay.
To attend a clay conversation session, you don’t have to be an artist or have any intention to learn pottery.
Before you plan to be present in a clay conversation session let me tell you what the results you might expect when you attend it for some span of time.

FAQ:
What do I do in a Clay Conversation Session?
-We work with a lump of clay, with a theme or may be free flowing sometimes, while having conversations with a group of people or with the practitioner.
What happens to the articles we make?
-If it's an online session, you can keep the piece with yourself as long as you want (It will break only if it is handled much).
-You can keep the piece in your garden and let it go back to nature with time.
-You can safely decorate it at some place where it will not be handled much.
-You can recycle the clay and reuse it in future.
Do we learn to make pottery/articles?
-No we don't learn to make articles or pottery pieces. Clay Conversation is more about letting yourself flow with the clay while sharing your thoughts with the group present. Yes we learn a few ways of handling clay to make what we want. But the learning here is very different from a regular pottery class
Do we get to fire our pieces at the end of a session?
No . None of the pieces will be fired at the end of a session. Though you can keep a piece as long as you want or you can recycle those at per your wish.
Where do I buy my clay from?
You can source your clay from any local potter or here are few links to buy clay online
